What to Expect
For this outpatient procedure, you will be given a sedative to help you relax. Dr. Petropoulos will conceal tiny incisions in natural creases or contours near the targeted areas. She removes the unwanted fat cells through a thin, hollow tube to create a smooth, contoured shape.
After the procedure, treated areas will be wrapped in a compression garment to reduce swelling and encourage attractive, compact contours. Most patients notice a significant improvement within 2 weeks, which will continue for up to 4 months. Fat cells will not re-grow once removed from the treated areas.
